The Silver Salmon have arrived to Whittier. We had 10 small boats trolling in the cove and 60 or so fisherman lining the banks.I had to unfoul an anchor from around the line on my dive float. The boat owner thought the flag was there for a reason so he dropped anchor on it WTF @#**. This was enough for me, bagged the rest of the day.
Better safe then hauled aboard someones boat.
The next time I go diving I'll bring the camera and not the tape measure. so more photos soon.

Last Sunday my buddy and I dove on the artificial reef and did some maping. After a year and 6 months the new reef is doing well. It's covered in kelp. We are seeing lots of Rockfish, Ronquils, Ling Cod, Decorated Warbonnets, Giant Pacific Octopus, Arctic Shannys. Lots of 1500lb Steller Sealions chasing Silver Salmon.
Vis has been 30'/10 meters most of the summer. Water temps are 55 degrees F/13 degrees C. Divings been great. Wish You were here!
