Southern Sting Rays & Half Moon Jellies Diving Safaris Costa Rica
Posted On: 05/05/2008 15:49:50

I dove with my daughter Kelley and some of her friends from Utila on her birthday and the water was pretty chilly (68F), but we did not notice it so much because of the parade of southern sting rays at Argentina Point.  At 80ft the jelly fish were everywhere (they are not the stinging kind), you could feel them as they bumped up against your face, and sometimes you had to use your hand to move them out of your path.  Very cool dive, no pun intended.

Katherine from Oceans Unlimited in Quepos, Costa Rica and her friend Georgia went for a dive with us and she had a turtle try to steel a little air while she was diving at Monkey Head last week.  That was very strange, always surprising.
