So, I have written my other blogs under my "pen name" - Tradewinddiver!   It's time I added my own thoughts to my page! Right now, although my Northeastern upbringing and subsequent years in Alaska and Montana tell me that it's really not that cold, I am so ready for warmer weather!!! Here in Southern Indiana (Louisville, KY Metro) we have dipped into the teens and maybe even the single digits once or twice. For me to complain about that is downright wimpy. But all in all, it's not the temperature I complain about, it's the duration.

The rain, snow, slush and lack of sun for 3 months have made me wish for the springtime birds and green trees. A sandy beach wouldn't be bad either! Watching my sons play video games instead of playing in my neighbor's tree is getting old. And although I try very hard to be patient, the folks that I share the roads with on my daily commute really do test my limits!!! I could go on and on about that, but I will refrain.

So, from what I heard, that groundhog in Pennsylvania did not see his shadow. That means spring should be just around the corner. Well, I'm waiting......

Hi all, Pirates_Lady here! I am writing on behalf of Tradewinddiver and I regarding our upcoming trip to Utila! As you may know, TWD was the winner of the Dive Trip Package with Utila Dive Center! (Marrying him is already paying off!!)

The plane tickets have been purchased and we are ready to go!!! We head for Honduras on Jan 2, 2008. We are very excited about this GREAT opportunity. Thanks DiveArea!!! TWD is also taking this opportunity to obtain yet another certification. He will be taking the Gas Blender Instructer level course while I take some time for the beach!!!
