Hiya, holiday diver. Went mainly diving in the Caribbean or Greece. Next on the list is the Red Sea... what are your favourite spots?

That burn is what happens when you wear just a small life jacket and go rafting for 9 hours in the full sun with no sunblock. (Kinda got washed off)

Yep many  times I'd just roll over on my back & noty bother with it. I just got into the habbit of wearing the snorkel. I was a NAUI/PADI instructor for 25 years. It is thier policy that a snorkel is a nessessity. I lead by example. So I wear one.

re- "snorkel subject." I just prefer to take my reg in my mouth if needed for the surface swim, since I always come up with plenty of air anyway. But yeah, it's personal choice ofcourse.

The picture gave me a flashback to a picture from a friend of mine, diving double 20's and carrying 4 stage bottles, the snorkel clipped to his mask was the finishing touch

re- "Am I serious about the snorkel"?  Yep, afraid so. After 35+ years of diving with one, old habbits are are hard to change. Only time I didn't have it on, there were heavy swells & a long surface swim back to the dive boat, I wish I had it so I leave it attached to my mask.
