Hi Barbie, thanks for the encouragement. I'm glad you're back in the water. I'm trying to take it easy but it just doesn't seem right. I did nearly nothing last week and I was going stir crazy. I'm trying to keep busy in moderation but work won't let that happen so I'm seeing a physiotherapist about my calf and my knee. She's pretty good and she set pretty reasonable limits for me. Now I just have to stick to them.
It's starting to get a little cooler here now. You can tell winter will be here soon. How's the weather in Hurghada? Probably still hot. At least you can dive year round. Take care of that leg and you'll have your fins on before you know it.
By the way, you called me sweetie. You brought a big smile to my face. A great end to a rather stressful day.
Hey Barbie, great to hear from you! I'm glad you're getting better. Most physiotherapists tell you that swimming is the best therapy around. Lucky for you eh? I'm on the disabled list for a while now. About 3 weeks ago, I folded my right knee sideways and just as it was starting to feel better, I tore my left calf muscle and then blew my right knee again. Last week I had some surgery (not related to my legs) and missed 4 days of work. I went back today and now it even hurts to type. Other than that, I'm very well. As for diving, it looks like nothing but beach b*tch for me for a while. Do you regret asking? I can whine with the best.
For me i have been rather busy with work and diving our instructor broke his foot and is in a cast also so i have been doing a fare bit off assisting of course and OW pool sessions coz he is a bit limited to what he can do but he has been doing the pool work just hoping around on one leg its funny
Hey Barbie, are you back in the water yet? I hope so, we don't want you to get dried out now do we? How's life treating you. I haven't heard from you in a while.
