Depressing time of the year

I find this time of year the most depressing. My boat is winterized & in storage till spring. The leaves are almost completely gone, just a few hanging on. A big frost has killed a lot of late blooming plants.  It's cold and damp & windy. It's too cold to do summer stuff, and not cold enough for winters sports. It's dark when I get up in the morning & there's barely an hour of day light to walk the dogs in the evening. I find then fall just sucks!

Hopefully there will be a few nice sunny days on a weekend this month so I can get in a shore dive or two.

Yep, I agree, nothing worse than leaving for work in the morning when it's dark and getting home just in time for it to get dark again. I do however love the cold weather, as long as it stays cold enough to do something with it.
