Glow in the dark dolphins and baby whale sharks
Posted On 04/29/2008 15:28:23 by BJG_diving

Just got back from our first overnight surf and dive trip with Costa Rica Surf Charters.  What a trip!  After watching the sunset and feasting on filet mignon and fresh ahi tuna we began our crossing to Witches Rock.  On the way a pod of dolphin joined in.  There was so much luminescent in the water that the dolphin actually glowed.  They would race off looking like a comet shooting through the water.  It was one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had. The next morning we watched the sun rise and on the way to the surf site we came across a baby whale shark.  It was very curious about us and stayed within inches of our bodies as we snorkeled.  WOW. I love my job!
