So this is my first blog and i thought why not this whole dive area is a great idea and i just wanted to share something about my amazing luck recently. I am an instructor/videographer and am having great fun in my current job in Egypt as a videographer, and all this blog is to praise the great site of ELPHINSTONE.
So a week ago i'm filming and as always with Elphinstone the viz is great and people excited at the chance of something special and after the first dive i see a lot of dissapointed faces due to lack of, well anything special on the first dive. But after a nice 2 hour surface interval we jump back in and after 40 mins everyone is looking a bit fed up when BANG BANG, tank bangers are going nuts and i look down and see a fantastic manta so down i go and film and get some most memorable shots with the manta doing everything it can to impress, so yey happy divers.
So your proberly thinking wow he saw a manta thats not that lucky but it was the next day when i went back to Elphinstone with perfect conditions and spent 2 dives on the north plateau with 3 hammerheads and a grey reef shark dancing for me and helping me not feel so bad that i'm running up crazy deco.
So now thats pretty lucky but wow it gets better day after at a site called Shaab Marsa Alam i go snorkeling with 20-30 dolphins and have a giant male bottlenose follow me for a whole dive weaving in an out of everyone letting me get even more fantastic shots.
So if you read this thanks and i would love to share this vieo footage with you wonderful dive area people but at present i see no area to upload video. But surely in the future you will sort that out right?
