Break From Studying and Mating Octopus
Posted On 05/27/2008 15:59:16 by BJG_diving
May 24th I took a break from studying and went diving with Fernando and his family (from San Jose, Costa Rica) and Tim and Chandra (from England).  There were lots of white-tip reef sharks at Argentina Point (I counted at least 10).  They were hanging out from 30ft to 80ft, which allowed our open water student, Perry, get to see sharks on her very first dive.  We found a yellow sea horse and a juvenile high hat plus lots of octopus.   We watched two octopus fighting with... WOW! What kind of ray was that?
Posted On 05/07/2008 10:15:06 by BJG_diving
I went diving yesterday with a couple of customers and wow the water was soo nice.  Warm, clear and full of fish.  We found two baby white-tip reef sharks sleeping under a rock at Virador and down at 70 feet there were thousands of half moon jelly fish.  There were so many that I was almost hypnotised, the song from the Beatles kept going through my head (Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds).  We found a really nice octopus free swimming, he was changing colors and trying to c...
