Maybe a little bit of history first. The USS Liberty was a cargo ship, torpedoed by the Japanese submarine in January 1942, World War II. The ship was seriously damaged and they tried to toe it to Singaraya, hoping they could repair it but The Liberty beached in Tulamben because it was taking too much water.
