In my 27 years of teaching I've seen a few, let's call them "special" students. They come various varieties, and each with their own peculiarity. I just started my SSI OW Instructor course last week. Going to be lots of work for a while. I took the first of 4 mini- exams & scored a 95% (must get at least a 90%). I also completed a pre- test. Well we finished our first IDC and Costa Rica has a bunch of new PADI pro's. Myself, I am an IDCS instructor right now,............yeah!!! the IDC went smooth, and we h ad a lot of fun, a few staff members from different dive centers in Central America were there as well and it made it a big complete great bunch of people. Tues. June 10, 2008- After breakfast we made our first dive on Danger Reef. It was a spot where shark- feeding dives are commonly done. The sharks come at the sound of the boat’s motors. There were probably about a dozen 8-10ft Caribbean reef sharks. Very Cool! I had a maximum depth of 61ft for 42 min. After the dive we moved the boat about ½ mi. to another reef with sharks in tow.
