SCUBA Diving in Alanya
With variety of marine life, enticing underwater caverns and interesting flora Alanya is a popular Scuba diving destination for diving of ablities. Most of the dives sites are situated around the base of the Alanya Castle’s steep cliffs, which turn to dramatic drop offs under the surface of the sea. The underwater landscape varies from reefs to walls to drop-offs and caverns. While marine life may not be as abundant as in the tropical seas most dives will produce the chance to see a wide range of sea life including groupers, morays, stingrays and beam. The more observant diver will also be able to spot different types of nudibranchs and octopus. Scuba Diving in Alanya also boasts the sighting of Turtles during many dives as well a cave with a resident Seal.
