Hi there Jon,

 I damaged the ligaments in my ankle at the beginning of July, managed to fall in a hole at the side of a disability ramp (yes I was sober, no alcohol involved!).  Three plaster casts and much physiotherapy later, I am now recovering well.  Insha'alla, I will be allowed to dive again in a couple of weeks time!

Sorry to hear that you have a cold, hope that you are feeling much better now.

You say about your car being damaged, is this all sorted out now and are you back behind the wheel and driving again?  Here, it's safer not to drive as the standard of driver skill is so poor, it really is point and press and hope all goes well, the accidents here tend to be spectacular ones with the vehicle being a total write off.  Good to hear from you again, stay in touch.

Hey Jon, how was the trip home? It's fun spoiling other people's kids and sending them home isn't it? I don't know if I'm going to get into the water in November but I have a class to help with in December so I'm hoping to get in then. After that I'll have to try to convince someone that the water isn't really that cold or wait until March. As for dry suits, I've never tried one. Can't afford it so I just say they're unneccessary. When I can, I'll probably buy one but for now I'll just pretend to be a tough guy and shiver in the corner where nobody can see me.

Ghandia on Christmas day? All you need is a snow man. That must be great to wake up to every morning.

Everything is good here. We are finally starting to show some colder weather coming in and the dive season has pretty much ended. I have one more outing scheduled this year near the end of November and that will probably be about all until March unless I can talk someone into a couple of ice dives. Work has been very busy and I've been chasing the kids around with soccer, volleyball, band, swimming, etc. etc. etc. so I don't have a whole lot of time to do much diving anyway. It's all good though. The only thing diving takes a second to is my family.
